Chasing Stars

Chasing Stars is a thesis project focused on creating an animated trailer for a fantasy adventure series. The series follows Eris, a young elf determined to find her missing sister as she ventures into a world full of magic and mystery. Not only is she searching for her sister, but she must also learn to navigate her life with newfound magic and what that means for her. 

Along the way, Eris befriends Mav, a tall, crimson skinned individual with a bright personality and an eagerness to offer more than just friendship, a protector. Together, they journey into the dangerous forests of Elvira, the last place Eris knew her sister was headed, armed with magic and hope. What will they find in Elvira, or better yet, who will they find?

The animated trailer for Chasing Stars features a small cast of characters and creatures, accompanied by additional artwork such as turnarounds and character development illustrations that highlight their features and expressions.
